Our Story
Taylor and Tim began their adventure at Bucknell University. While Tim will adamantly deny the timing of it, he finally remembered meeting Taylor their junior year and their friendship was seamlessly integrated into their everyday life. At the beginning of their senior year they started dating and supported each other in every aspect from long nights in the library to laughing and building memories with their friends. As graduation approached, they had no question that they would continue to grow together, despite heading to different cities to start their careers.
Taylor moved to Boston to pursue medicine at Tufts University PA program and Tim went to New York City to follow his career in finance. The two always knew they would end up together in the same city, it was just a matter of time. Over the three years of distance, the two endured many Amtrak trips and countless drives between New York and Boston, while also making time to travel to Philadelphia, the Poconos, San Fransisco, Vermont, and Maine.
After Taylor graduated PA School, she confidently packed her bags and headed to enemy territory to join Tim in a lovely apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan. To celebrate Taylor completing her Masters, her family and Tim went to Europe together where they traveled from Paris to Florence to Rome. They spent the first week with Taylor’s family, and then got to enjoy the second week alone in Rome. Tim knew this was the perfect opportunity to ask Taylor to spend the rest of their lives together because Italy has always held a special place in Taylor’s heart since she studied abroad there her junior year.
After they shared a delicious pasta dinner together, Tim led Taylor on a romantic walk through Rome that ended up at the Trevi Fountain. A flawless night was interrupted when they entered the square and the sky opened up with complete downpour. This did not stop Tim from convincing Taylor to throw a coin and make a wish in the fountain. At that point of the night, everyone else had left the Trevi Fountain so they had the place to themselves and Tim knew this was the perfect moment. Tim got down on one knee and proposed and Taylor, of course, said yes. Now, they could not be more excited to share this next journey with their closest friends and family.
